SWMA Executive Committee Reviews Subcommittee Recommendations
The SWMA Executive Committee met to review recommendations from the Assembly’s subcommittees and determine which matters should proceed to the General Assembly.
The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly held an Executive Committee meeting on 13 August 2026 to review recommendations submitted by the Assembly’s various subcommittees.
The meeting brought together Executive Committee members to examine the reports, consider their implications and determine which recommendations should be presented to the General Assembly for further consideration and approval.
Members discussed the issues raised during the different subcommittee meetings and considered their potential effect on the administration and development of the Municipality.
The Committee also provided observations and guidance to ensure that recommendations forwarded to the General Assembly were properly considered and aligned with the Municipality’s development priorities.
The Executive Committee meeting forms an important part of the Assembly’s decision-making process.
Proposals are first examined by the relevant subcommittees before proceeding to the Executive Committee. Matters requiring final approval are then submitted to the General Assembly.
This process allows recommendations to be reviewed at different levels before decisions affecting the Municipality are approved and implemented.
