Sod Cut for Three-Unit Classroom Block at Ntretreso M/A Basic School
Construction of a three-unit classroom block with offices and storage facilities was launched at Ntretreso M/A Basic School
A sod-cutting ceremony was held at Ntretreso M/A Basic School on 14 May 2025 to mark the beginning of construction of a three-unit classroom block with offices and storage facilities. The project is intended to provide pupils with a safer and more suitable learning environment while improving working conditions for teachers.
The new classroom block will help strengthen educational infrastructure in Ntretreso and provide additional space for effective teaching and learning. Education remains one of the strongest foundations for community development. Improving school facilities gives children a better opportunity to learn, develop their abilities and work towards a secure future.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Dominic Gyasi, expressed appreciation to the individuals, institutions and community members whose support helped make the project possible.
He reaffirmed the Municipal Assembly’s commitment to working with communities and other stakeholders to improve educational facilities across Sefwi Wiawso Municipality. The classroom block is expected to serve pupils, teachers and future generations in Ntretreso after its successful completion.
